316 stainless steel rivet nuts Supplier
Stainless Steel Rivet Nuts are used in applications where the material surface cannot take a traditional bolt hole and driving of bolt. Viha Steel & Forging is a leading manufacturer and supplier of the stainless steel rivet nuts m6 and other sizes. These nuts are rivetted into the soft or brittle material surface and then the bolts can drive into these stainless steel rivet nuts m8 to make the connection and be fastened.
There are different material types used to make these nuts and the 304 grade is the most used material because it is cost effective, strong and can withstand general corrosion. However, some stainless steel rivet nut inserts will need to cope up with heavy corrosion such as sea water. At instances like these, the more corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel rivet nuts are used. The molybdenum added 316 material has higher chloride ion corrosion stress crack resistance than the 304.
The m5 stainless steel rivet nuts and others can range from M2 to M100 in sizes with diameters ranging from M3 to M60. The sizes correspond to 3/8 inches to 4 inches of imperial sizes.
