Hastelloy C276 Fasteners are extremely corrosion resistant and are made up of one of the few most corrosion resistant and versatile materials used for metallic fasteners. Viha Steel & Forging is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Hastelloy Fasteners the different types of Hastelloy C276 Bolts and other fasteners. Hasstelloy is a mixture of 55% nickel, 3% tungsten, 4% iron, 14.5% chromium and 15% molybdenum minimum in the composition.

This composition provides the fasteners with high corrosion resistance against acids, sea water, chemicals, atmospheric gases and many other oxidizing and reducing agents as well. The Hastelloy C276 Hex Bolts can be spring tempered or annealed to make them even harder. The material is strong. It has 850MPa minimum tensile strength in the annealed condition and 1300MPa in the spring tempered condition. Depending on the application requirement, the chemical composition proportions and the mechanical strength vary. The hastelloy c276 stud bolts are used in difficult situations with hard and harsh applications.

The material can perform at cryogenic temperatures to high temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius as well. This high operating temperature is possible because of the high melting point of 1325 degrees Celsius of the ASTM B574 UNS N10276 Bolts.
