Manufacturer of F467m Hex Nuts and Asme SF467 Grade 5 Square Nuts at discounted price
astm f467 nuts belong the ASTM F467 specification which covers nuts of brass, naval brass, aluminum bronze and silicon bronze materials. Viha Steel & Forging is a leading manufacturer and supplier of these ASTM F467m nuts in various dimensions and sizes. There are different alloys such as the 260, 464, 630 and 655 grades that are used for the production of these nuts.
There are different shapes and each shape is useful in different application type. The ASTM F467 Hex Nuts are some of the most commonly used nuts in various industries for their ease of application with tools and the geometric strength. There are hex nuts and heavy hex nuts as well. The ASTM F467 Wing Nuts of this specification can have copper content ranging from 59% in the naval brass material to 94% in the silicon bronze material. The high copper content allows the ASTM F467 Thin Nuts and other types to withstand high acidic corrosion.
For this reason, the nuts are very good for acid processing and other chemical applications and instruments. The 630 and 655 grades of ASTM F467 Square Nuts have 1.5% manganese in their composition along with copper. The square nuts are also used for the different application types with the allowed space for tightening the nuts. The aluminum bronze nuts have 9% to 11% aluminum with 78% copper in the composition. This makes the nuts much stronger and corrosion resistant than the other grades. As a leading manufacturer and supplier, we produce all kinds of nuts such as the ASTM F467 Coupling Nuts and others in the ASTM F467 specification. Please feel free to contact us for more information and pricing.

A Tensile stress areas are computed using the following formula: As = 0.7854 [D- (0.9743/n)]2
Where:
As = Tensile stress area, in.2,
D = Nominal size (basic major diameter), in., and,
n = number of threads per inch.
