ASTM A194 Grade 6 Nuts range from M6 to M100 in nominal size. Viha Steel & Forging is a leading manufacturer and supplier of these nuts in different sizes, shapes and types. The material composition of the A194 Gr 6 Hex Nuts and others include 11.5 to 13.5% chromium. So the corrosion resistance of these nuts is high. The hex nuts are used very commonly in applications to easily install them with tools.
The torque strength of the ASTM A194 Gr 6 Heavy Hex Nuts is high as well. For this reason, they can be used in heavy applications where the tightening of the nuts is possible with high torque. The material includes carbon, manganese, silicon phosphorus and sulfur with chromium. The composition allows for the ASTM A194 Grade 6 Washer to have high yield and tensile strengths. The minimum yield strength is 240MPa and the minimum yield strength is 550MPa, with 30% elongation rate. The products are also high in hardness with 223 BHN value.
The ASTM A194 Stainless Steel Nuts Grade 6 specification is for high temperature, high pressure services and the size ranges from ¼ inches to 4 inches.
